We distribute beverages to around 6 300 recipients, including monopoly stores of Systembolaget, restaurants, wholesalers, grocery stores in Sweden. Increasingly, we also handle deliveries to Norway, Denmark, Finland and Germany. On a daily basis about 30 000 cases are distributed from our warehouse in Jordbro.
The customer order initiates picking and packing of the goods to be delivered. After that, all orders are co-distributed via any of our 17 cross-docking-terminals. Our haulage contractors adjust their processes to Lagena’s terms of how the goods need to be handled. This allows for high delivery performance, while reducing the negative environmental impact.
The solution for co-distribution is handled of our business unit XSAM, and is so efficient that many of Lagena´s competitors also use the services of XSAM.
